2026 Anzac Day services in Mid Canterbury
Hakatere Marae - Meet at the gate 7.25am, for a 7.30am start. Followed by a light breakfast.
Ashburton Dawn Service - 6.30am at the cenotaph, Baring Square West. To be followed by a Civic Service at 11am. Road closures on SH1 apply.
Ashburton Cemetery Service - at 9am.
Methven, Alford Forest and Highbank District RSA Service - Meet at the Memorial Arch at 9.10am, wreath laying at 9.30am, parade to the hall for the service 9.40am. Morning tea to follow.
Ealing Service– At Ealing Hall at 9.15am. Morning tea to follow, bring a plate.
Mayfield and Districts Red Poppy Association Anzac Service - Parade starts at Panthers Rock Cafe 9.50am, service at 10am at Mayfield Memorial Hall. Followed by an artillery salute and morning tea, please bring a plate. The Mayfield and District Red Poppy Association Golf Match is also back at the Mayfield Golf Club from 12.30pm.
Lauriston Anzac Service -10am at the Lauriston Hall. Morning tea to follow.
Rakaia Anzac Service - Gather 10.15am for presentation of wreaths, service at the hall at 10.30am. Morning tea to follow.
Dorie Anzac Service - At Dorie War Memorial, St Patrick's Church, 840 McCroys Rd at 4pm.
